![]() Seriously, the two sound great harmonizing together on this track. Such as on "History," where Black and Gass display their tight vocal interaction. Of course such drifts of bliss are always short-lived in the realm of The D, but when they come they are welcomed. With "Baby," the duo keep their acoustic sweetness on point. That it's offset by "Classico," a wonderfully manic romp through classical Gass is prime D in action. The song more or less sets up the rock and roll odyssey of Tenacious D. ![]() That The D managed to snag their hero Dio to rock with them is inspired, to say the least. ![]() If you had any doubts about where the D would come this time around, you merely need listen to "Kickapoo" which features the legendary voice embellishment of Meat Loaf and Ronnie James Dio.
